Lightbox is a natural light photo studio and small event space located in Springfield, Missouri. Our mission is to serve the local community by providing a unique environment for collaborations, meetings, events, photo sessions and other creative endeavors.
MEET THE TEAM
HANNAH
I’m Hannah and I am the founder of Lightbox Collective. This idea blossomed back in 2013 as a college student and finally came to fruition 6 years later. As I began my photography journey early in high school, I quickly realized several gaps within the photography community such as lack of indoor locations, lack of work from November - March, no collective space where all kinds of creatives can come together and collaborate, etc. Lightbox was created to solve these problems for our photography community.
Wherever you are in your photography journey, I hope that you feel inspired and right at home inside Lightbox. My wish for you is that you feel empowered in your craft and continue to chase your dreams.
Outside of Lightbox, I enjoy spending time with my husband Kyle and my dog Mira. I also enjoy spending time with my family and have recently started reading more.
BEKAH
I'm Bekah and I am the Creative Coordinator here at Lightbox! My position covers a wide range of duties, but my favorite thing to do is help plan our events - specifically our photography events! I handle a lot of the visual information shared on our social media & website as well as behind the scenes video footage & event planning! Outside of Lightbox I am celebrating the 10th year of owning my photography business, Illuminate Photography and I live here in Springfield with my husband, Jacob & our little fur baby, Georgia! I love that this job is constantly pushing me to be a better person & photographer! Each day I spend at Lightbox is an opportunity to create something new and connect with our creative community and for that, I am so thankful!

Hello hello! I'm (also) Hannah, and I am the Studio Assistant at Lightbox! My job is to make you feel comfortable while bringing your visions to life! Some things that fill my cup are helping others, planning and organizing, and cultivating meaningful relationships.
In addition to my position at Lightbox, I am a freelance makeup artist and a full-time Salon Director. To say that I am busy is an understatement, but I wouldn't have it any other way! When I'm not working, I enjoy adventuring with my husband and our daughter, reading all things horror, and binge-watching my favorite shows.
Lightbox is one of my favorite places in Springfield, and I am so lucky to work alongside some pretty amazing individuals. I can't wait to show you all that Lightbox has to offer!
