Virtual/Mailed to You - Vision Board Party 2021

Join us for our 3rd annual Vision Board Party!
We are offering a “virtual” vision board party for those who would rather create their boards at home or simply cannot make it to our in-person event.

HOW IT WORKS:
We will mail you all of your supplies needed to create your vision board at home. At checkout, you will fill out a form with words, images, or phrases you would like for us to include in your package. We will send tracking information once we mail out your supplies. Co-host, Madi Miller, will have a video recording available for you to watch while putting your board together. Please note, we will not provide scissors. We encourage you to have extra magazines at home to use if you need more than what we provide.

A vision board, also known as a Dream Board or Future Board, is intended to portray a picture of how you want to feel and what you want to bring into your life in the coming year. During this workshop you will learn how to know what to put on your board, what is most important to you and then how to use your board throughout the year to create every outcome you want! Through images, words, quotes and crafts, you will receive the tools and resources to make your 2021 Vision Board something that you cherish and admire daily.

Happy PAWlidays - Fundraiser for K9's for Camo

Grab your pups and join us at Lightbox for our very first fundraiser in support of K9’s for Camo.

Bring your own photographer or take them yourself. We will have a ring light and phone stand available if you wanted to hop in a few with your four-legged friends.

Each spot is 10 minutes long. There will be a raffle full of goodies you can win and all proceeds of the raffle will go do K9’s for Camo.

What is K9’s for Camo?

K9s For Camo is a nonprofit organization located in Southwest Missouri. The organization trains rescue dogs to become service dogs for veterans. Many of the dogs are within days or hours of being euthanized, and becoming a service dog provides a new path and purpose in life. The dogs are trained by those serving time at the Ozark Correctional Center in Fordland, Missouri. Inmates in dog training programs have lower depression, aggression and recidivism rates. They also gain marketable skills and life experience.

Veterans with PTSD who have service dogs experience lower levels of depression and lower overall symptoms of PTSD. Studies confirm this, but at K9s For Camo we see the results every day as we watch our amazing rescue dogs empower many of our veterans to re-enter the world with renewed confidence and security.

There is no cost to the veteran.

The Meraki Workshop

to Dec 6

The Meraki Workshop

IT’S HERE!
The Meraki Workshop is LIVE! Let’s start by taking a deep breath in……now out. It’s no secret that busy season has hit us. Not to mention… much busier and harder than other years! This time is bittersweet because we are thankful to have the work…but are exhausting ourselves to the point where we majorly crash come December.

Here’s the thing. If it’s anything I (Hannah) have learned over the years…it’s to end the year on a good and exciting note. Many times I want to lay around all winter long and watch movies. But when I do that, I lose all my creative spark. It ends up taking me so long to recover from the photographer’s hibernation.

Now, don’t get me wrong…us photographers NEED that hibernation period. So….before we all head that direction, let’s feed our souls, minds, bellies (yes there will be lots of snacks) and do something fun for ourselves. This workshop is geared towards current and upcoming trends.

Only 12 spots available on each day. If you sign up for Day 1, we will send you a discount code for Day 2!

7 Steps to Achieving Stress-Free Life and More Rewarding Career with Eden Holt

Springfield, Missouri Life Coach Reveals 7 Steps to
Achieving Stress-Free Life and More Rewarding Career

Professional coach Eden Holt shares secrets to finding balance in an unbalanced world.

Overwhelming debt. Marriages on life support. Time bandits that leave no extra room for family time, friends, or fun. This is what our do-more, buy-more and be-more culture has brought us to, says local life coach Eden Holt. It all adds up to over scheduled and overworked lives that are out of balance.

But there is an answer.
In fact, a 7-step formula Eden uses with clients is designed to bring balance, lower stress, and make space for a life of purpose, success and satisfaction:

Fitness: Eating whole foods and eliminating sugar, processed foods, and bad fats brings about the mental clarity, confidence and high energy needed to focus on goals in the other 6 areas of your life.

Finance: Eliminating debt — and the accompanying stress it brings — returns personal finances to a more manageable routine where monthly budgeting, auto-saving for retirement, and planning major purchases are the norm.

Family: If you’re not working on your marriage, says Eden, you’re working on your divorce. Additionally, focusing on your inner circle family (and protecting them from toxic family “outliers”) eliminates relationship drama and creates a safe environment for kids to grow.

Field: Studies show up to 70% of people hate their jobs. If that describes you, Holt advises, creating a plan to safely transition into a new role (or new field entirely) is key.

Faith: While Holt doesn’t tell clients what to believe, having an active faith walk — with prayerful meditation time, church affiliation, and regular study — keeps people balanced.

Friends: Friends influence our life, career and relationship decisions, so “reverse-engineering” the friendships you want is crucial. And friends who create drama? Decide whether to have a crucial conversation or simply unfriend, unfollow, delete.

Fun: Adding everyday fun and bigger “bucket list” trips and experiences not only adds to the joy of life, it delivers physiological benefits like lower stress and beneficial human connection. Yet too many adults plan to wait until retirement.

Achieving a life of contentment, vibrant good health, ample finances, and supportive relationships is possible with good planning, says Holt whose 10-week coaching process moves clients quickly through the seven areas to achieve the life they dream of and deserve.

(I will allow up to 4 individual ones that total up to $400 to make sure you get something you love!!)

Follow the link for your free ticket:
Claim you free ticket here!

From the artist:
”As a DJ, mother of an energetic 1 year old boy, extrovert & social butterfly, I want to show you that art can be such a fun & EXCITING thing to be involved in!

You will be able to purchase ANY of the pieces to take home with you by paying in full or set up payments with a deposit.

My life's purpose is to use my art & life experiences to bring joy, happiness, meaning, clearer vision & inspiration into as many lives as I can!! This is a new step in my art career of connecting with locals & getting to know you guys!

I will be featuring another local extremely talented artist! She is an inspiring, kind, selfless, & driven individual who I have had the pleasure of growing close to & learning a new art style from! She will have some of her artwork also available to purchase!! Come & meet her!

The next year is not promised! The next month is not promised! The next 24 hours are not promised! The next 60 seconds are not promised!

Why did I choose this specific date & the title "I CHERISH YOU"?? Well, I gave my baby sister (who was 8 years old at the time) a goodnight kiss & told her that I love her...just to get woken up the next morning getting told that she had stopped breathing in her sleep.

February 20th marks the 5th year anniversary of the night I gave my last words to my angel of a baby sister without even realizing it. From that day forward, I strive to live my life like I may not be given another 24 hours with the people in my life. That situation woke me up from this dream of waiting around for that perfect moment, the perfect opportunity, the perfect person & taught me to go after what I love & make those moment happen myself!

For this show, I used the colors silver & gold (to symbolize richness, wealth & value..not the money kind, but the quality of your relationships & friendships), white (to symbolize light..be the light for those around you), grey (to represent balance), blue (to represent healing) & pink (to represent love & also for my baby sister because that was her favorite color).

As you look at these pieces, I hope you are reminded of all of the incredible memories & people that you have in your life. Build relationships & friendships that have quality & value, that encourage you to chase your goals! Instead of telling people "I love you" (which can have a thousands different meanings), show them with your actions... "I CHERISH YOU"!”
